New PBL layout; Drama potentially stirred up

Well first and foremost the PBL has reformatted their regular season into a series of small tournaments. This tournament will be known  as the "Puppish Spring Invitational". Tournaments beyond this are yet to be named, sponsored, or created. The second tournament will likely be based on the standings form this first tournament. Here is a preview of this first tournament:

This tournament take place from April 15th-19th. Because of the time of this tournament, this will force the Fools and the Bees to make immediate signings to their teams (each team must have 4 players on a team to compete). The Fools decided to sign Pupacheekis, and a source said that he will be playing 2nd base for the Fools. The Fools also had to make another decision: Who is going to pitch? We met up with Fool Foolerson  and Flopper Floppish to see who they thought should pitch.

Reporter: Who do you think should embrace the role of pitching on the Fools?

Fool: "I pitched a few innings last year, and I'm not sure if I'm ready to start pitching again. My main position is 1st base, and I don't want to risk and arm injury for just a temporary thing."

Flopper:"I think I should because I've thrown a few pitches over the past days, and I think I would do us good in a few tournaments until Pupa is healthy, and ready to return to the field."

With Pupeeys likely gone for the season the Bees also got a new addition to their team. Pupcheeks has signed with the Bees, but there is a twist within her contract. Once Pupeeys is healthy again Pupcheeks will go back to being a free agent. We caught up with Pupcheeks to ask her how she felt about this signing: "I'm happy to become a Bee, but it's unfortunate that I will have to leave when my teammate gets better. Since the Bees aren't a 'top talent' team I see this as an opportunity to get better. I'm hoping for the best". All games for this upcoming tournaments will be broadcasted on PBL TV.
